With the MOVI-C® modular automation system, everything comes from a single source. Hardware and software are a well-oiled team. The software takes care of the engineering – planning your application.

Using the hardware reduces the complexity, installation space and costs – all you have to do is connect our components, and they will link via plug-and-play, including to each other. With configurable devices and end-to-end control technology, we reduce the number of device variants without losing any functions – they include everything from safety to robotics, maintaining the full range of movements that can be achieved.

Temperature sensor:

  • PT100 temperature sensor
  • Measuring range: -50 - 200°C
  • Interchangeable use of measuring equipment


Oil level sensor:

  • Ultrasonic tank transmitter with sound tube
  • Ambient temperature: -40 - 105°C


Speed sensor:

  • Inductive sensor to IEC 60947-5-2
  • Recognizing direction of rotation


Acceleration sensor:

  • Low frequency sensor
  • Resolution: 0.1 Hz at a sample rate of 50 000 Hz

Connectivity

Transfer of measurement data

  • Data transmission via LTE mobile network
  • Measuring intervals vary depending on condition
  • Transmission interval every 10 minutes


Data security

  • Encrypted communication between EPU and SEW cloud
  • Certificate-based identification
  • Comprehensive authorization concept for DriveRadar® IIoT Suite
